I wish I could say that juice fast day 9 is going great, but… I woke up feeling ok with exception to feeling pretty hungry and drained. I just don’t understand it. I should be like, I dunno, feeling super awesome or something. Right? That’s what I was hoping for anyway…at least I think I should be. This is frustrating me. The first half of my juice fast this time around went so well, that one would think that it would only get better. Maybe this is what I get for having such an easy start, lol…

Morning Juice Fast Check In:

  • Body Fat – 16.7 %
  • Weight – 126.5 lbs - Lean 105.38 lbs – Fat 21.12 lbs
  • BMI – 20.6

Nightly Juice Fast Assessment:

  • Headaches – None today
  • Sleep – Good, sound sleep
  • Energy – Good energy, but still not as positive as I’d like
  • Joint pain – Feeling pretty good all over
  • Stamina – Still a guessing game, but feeling good
  • Motivation – Hanging in there
  • Hunger – More cravings and even more hunger today…

Day 9 is going to be a bear. I can feel it and am working hard to make it as non-grizzly as possible. I think it would have helped if I was fasting along with Randy, you know, like if we were juice fasting buddies or something. Doing it alone at home kind of gets tough. Although, I will say that this time around, the cooking and such for Randy and the kids hasn’t been that bad. I just don’t understand why my juice fasting is taking a backwards turn… Any ideas?

Well big surprirse! I just went back and read my last juice fast day 9, and guess what? Almost a mirror of today! – increasing hunger and feeling groggy..even a mild headache last time. Hmmm, I wonder why this is. Actually, Randy and I were trying to figure this out on my last day 9. It’s weird, both, Randy and Tony had increasingly better experiences as they got closer to the end of their fast. Mine…not so much. I guess it just goes to show how everybody is different right? Or, is there some reason? I dunno anymore… But… I want to know! Lol…

I am going to hang low on my juice fast today and duck the carb cravings as much as I can. THAT there, I know what’s what. I’m not hungry for food. I’m just hungry for chips, crackers, and pretzels… I tell you, if I learned anything at all this time around is that hunger is a tricky BXXXH! For sure…

    Hope it gets better for you. I was wondering how much juice you drink a day. I know someone who did a juice fast but they only drank juice Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Nothing in between, and I thought ppl drank in between meals as well.

      Today is going much better, thanks.
      I drink quiet a bit of juice, actually, according to my hunger..which I’m finding out is kind of a tricky thing. Sometimes I think I’m hungry, but, it’s really just me craving something. I usually have a little drink of juice anyway then, just to ease the craving. Altogether, I drink juice for each meal, and usually a glass in-between meals as well plus water. I heard some where that it was suggested to drink at least 64 ounces a day, but I know I go over that… A lot of people have asked this question, and I did start to keep track but quickly gave that up. I don’t count calories either. I almost don’t want to start doing that. I’m afraid if I did, given my tedious and detailed nature, I’d obsess over it. And my goal isn’t really related to weightloss, just better health so… Hope that helps. :)
