Natural Weight Loss Plan, The Right Way To Get And Stay Fit For Good!

Through our own personal experience and that of helping others over the years, we’ve developed a method for natural weight loss that is pretty darn effective. It’s not sexy or glamorous. It’s not a miracle break through that will have you shedding 10 lbs. per day. What we prescribe is really a collection of common sense and time tested ideas that you can bend and mold to fit the shape of your unique circumstances.

Most “diets” give you a much stricter set of rules to follow, because they’re created by those just in it for the money. They are well aware that people struggling to lose weight are desperate for an answer and providing it to them makes for an extremely effective marketing tool. If you tell someone that A + B = “Problem Solved,” they are much more likely to give you their money than if you just try to guide them along with good sound advice and let them piece together the puzzle for themselves.

As a bonus, they also offer quick results, so you will get excited about losing 10 lbs. in two weeks and spread the word which increases their sales. Now, a fast start isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It can be great for getting you motivated, but the methods they use rarely address the real problem and their short term success inevitably gives way to long term failure.

Our system for natural weight loss works because it’s actually a healthy living plan that just so happens to help you lose weight. It’s a simple set of ideas that you can implement in your own personal way in order to change your life to a healthier one and keep that weight off for good. There’s no sudden drastic changes. Just a slow steady stream of easy steps that can take you from being tired, unhealthy and overweight to fit, active and eating healthy.

Losing 120 lbs. and building our natural weight loss system

Randy at about 280 lbs and GROWING!!!

Over the course of several posts, I shared our story of how we got started on creating this natural weight loss system while losing 120 lbs and fixing my looming health issues. Each post describes another step we took, why we took it, and why it worked. More importantly though, I tried to give you some ideas of how you can apply our experience to your own efforts.

The posts started as an answer to a bunch of people asking how we did it, but has since turned into much more. I recommend that you go and read each one if for no other reason than to have a good laugh, but also to see that we are real people, with a real family, and normal problems who managed to solve an all too common issue in a way that just might help you too!

If you want a tool to help you with our natural weight loss plan, I highly recommend you check out the Fat Loss Factor. Yes, that’s an affiliate link and we make a little cash if you buy it, but that’s how we pay for this site and I really believe it’s a great product. It’s doesn’t cost very much ($47) and it gives you everything you will need along the way from help with setting goals, to planning exercise, how to grocery shop, and even personal support and soooo much more. I don’t want this to be a sales letter, so I’ll just let you go watch the video if you’re interested. I highly recommend you do though.

1) How We Got Started with Natural Weight Loss

The first post is our story of how I got to be a +300 lbs chubby hubby in the first place. Your details may vary, but I’m sure most of you can relate to the circumstances and choices that lead to bad habits and an unhealthy relationship with food, which in turn, lead to obesity and my poor health. It’s kind of long, but it’ll give you a good idea of who we are and why we do things the way we do.

2) Start Slow

Sometimes drastic changes are necessary, but as you can probably tell from the first post, we firmly believe that slow, steady course changes are more likely to ensure long term success. Evaluate your situation and start chipping away at your biggest issues bit by bit.

3) Time To Get Moving

Now that you’ve started to chip away at your bad eating habits, it’s time to add in a bit of exercise. Same idea here. We’re not going to be running a marathon by the end of the week or doing flying one handed donkey-kick ass crunchers in front of the TV. We just want to start finding simple ways to be more active throughout the day and start getting in the habit of exercising.

4) Stepping It Up A Notch

Those first few posts will help you get in the right mind set for successful natural weight loss and for assessing your current situation. Now that you’ve got an idea of where you are, you can sit down and really define where you want to go.

5) Measuring Success

This post goes right along with “Stepping It Up A Notch”. You’re going to need a few basic tools to help measure your goals and track your progress. Nothing big or expensive, just a few simple things to make life easier.

6) Diving Deeper Into Your Diet

You’ve been working on the basics of your diet and now you have a good idea of what exactly you want to be. In order to get there we’re going to get a lot more detailed about what you eat and when you eat it. This is a big key to maintaining your rate of weight loss and then keeping it off for good.

7) Getting the Most out of cardio

The focus so far has been mostly on diet, but you should also be well on your way to being more active and building a pretty good habit of exercising every day. Cardio isn’t very complicated, but with our busy lives you want to get the most return for the time you spend doing it.

8) Getting the Most out of strength training

Building muscle is the most effective way to maintain your natural weight loss. It’s awesome for burning calories and accelerating your weight loss, but building up your muscle mass increases your metabolism and makes it much easier to keep the weight off. It’s a bit more complicated than cardio though.

9) Plan To Succeed

By this point, you’ve got the scale moving in the right direction, and you’re feeling pretty good. As time goes by, though, the initial enthusiasm starts to wear off, and it gets easier and easier to let life’s little hiccups get in our way. The best way to keep from letting that happen too much is to plan ahead.

10) More To Come – We’ll keep adding more chapters…

There’s still several posts to go, but these should be more than enough to get you on the right track. They take me a while to write, but check back. We’ve got some great stuff coming for you.

Final thoughts about this Natural Weight Loss system

Randy Lee (About 195 lbs) with the always Amazing Amy

Hopefully our natural weight loss story will inspire you to make the changes necessary for a healthier, slimmer, happier you. We hear about the obesity epidemic and the associated health risks, but still it seems that the most common motivator for losing weight is vanity. Pay attention to what all the weight loss products focus on, and you’ll see what I mean. It’s almost always about how you look. Vanity is too shallow of an emotion to last long term though. Dig deeper and find a real motivator. Looking good in a bikini pales in comparison to wanting to climb a set of stairs without your knees blowing out or being around to watch your kids grow up.

That’s why we’re always saying make choices to change your life not your waistline. Focus on improving your health and your dress/pant size will follow. The bad news is that there are no quick or easy answers. The good news is that there are indeed answers. Being over weight is the symptom of an unhealthy life, so stop treating the symptom by just trying to lose weight, start a natural weight loss program. Start fixing the real problem by leading a healthier life and the symptom will magically go away!
