Juice Fast Day Ten The End – Amy’s Second Round

I've made it to my last and final juice fast day, day 10! I don't know if I've made it over the carb craving hump, or if I am just feeling the relief of the end drawing near. Maybe, I will know the answer to that question by this afternoon... Considering the carbs, a funny thing happened this morning. I was making the kids' lunches before school, putting together sandwiches, and low and behold a heart appeared in Charlie's slice of bread, lol... Do you think the carbs are trying to tell me that they need some love? LOL... Oh yeah right! How funny and right on with the timing...

Juice Fast Amy Day Ten – The End

I woke on my last juice fast day groggy again and feeling a bit swollen, like I'm retaining a lot of water. I must admit, I'm a bit disappointed by this, but I don't know if this has anything to do with my fast. A bug seems to be working its way through our house. Jody brought it home from school, typical this time of year, and it's been hopping from her to the baby to possibly Randy to me. I will say, though, that when the first bug of the new school year is brought home, everyone is much more effected by it. No one in the house seems to be all that sick so far. I better knock on wood again...

Juice Fast Day Ten – That Was Actually Fun!

Woohoo! I made it! Day ten of my juice fast is done and it was amazing. Really good energy all day and I felt better than I have in a long time. It wasn't nearly as daunting as I expected and kind of want to continue, but I'm going to call it good for now. I'm definitely going to do it again in a few months! I'll post a summary tomorrow and Amy will journal her juice fast when she starts in a couple days. Follow along and wish her luck!
